Congratulations and Warm Welcome to Saud Ghazi’s Alotaibi as the New Vice-President for the Middle-East on the IIAS Council of Administration

We are delighted to announce and extend our sincere congratulations to Saud Ghazi’s Alotaibi on his appointment as the new Vice-President for the Middle-East on the Council of Administration (CA) of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS). Saud Ghazi’s Alotaibi steps into this esteemed role, succeeding Abulrahman Al-Arifi from Saudi Arabia.

Saud Ghazi’s Alotaibi brings with him a wealth of experience and a dedication to the principles that IIAS stands for. His commitment to advancing administrative sciences in the Middle-East will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the IIAS mission.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Abulrahman Al-Arifi for his invaluable contributions during his tenure as the Vice-President for the Middle-East. Abulrahman's dedication and efforts have left a lasting impact on IIAS, and we thank him for his service and commitment to advancing the goals of the association.

The CA serves as the primary governance body of IIAS. It plays a pivotal role in crucial decisions, including the appointment of the Director General, adoption of the budget and accounts, and shaping the association's program for the financial year. The CA is legally responsible for the acts of the association, making its members instrumental in steering the course of IIAS.


The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our vibrant community, further strengthening our commitment to advancing public administration education and practice worldwide.

On August 23, 2024, the ICAPA Steering Committee convened remotely to discuss nominations for the positions of Chair and Vice Chair of the Accreditation Committee, as well as for membership on the committee. 

The committee reviewed a total of 21 nominations, which included candidates for the Chair and Vice Chair.  After thorough consideration of the vetting materials and deliberations, the following unanimous nominations were decided:

Additionally, the committee confirmed the unanimous nominations for second consecutive terms based on prior vetting for the following incumbents:
